If you want to speed up event check-ins without adding more staff, the new kiosk mode in the Passage Manager app allows fans to check themselves in. Let's look at the steps:
Step 1: Go to Check In Screen
Open the Passage Manager app and tap Check in on the bottom left of your navigation bar.
Step 2: Enable Kiosk Mode
In the top right corner, next to the help icon, tap the kiosk icon to access kiosk mode settings.
Step 3: Set Up a PIN and Start Kiosk Mode
Create a PIN so only you can enter or exit kiosk mode. This prevents fans from leaving kiosk mode. Next, click "Start Kiosk Mode" at the bottom.
Step 5: Allow Scan Ins, Scan Outs, and Waiver Signatures
In kiosk mode, users can scan in, scan out, and sign waivers as needed.
Step 6: User Scans Ticket to Check In
Users place their ticket under the kiosk scanner. The screen will display a clear message confirming check-in.
Step 7: Handle Duplicate or Invalid Scans
If someone tries to scan the same ticket again or an invalid ticket, the kiosk will show a red X and a message: No unused pass is available.
It is recommended to have an attendant nearby to monitor the kiosks and ensure all guests scan their tickets properly.
Step 8: Use Kiosk Mode for Waivers
For waiver-based events, enable kiosk mode and scan the ticket. The kiosk will prompt the user to sign the waiver before checking them in.
This is the new kiosk mode by Passage ticketing, designed to streamline your event check-in process.
