Change an In-Person Transaction Total at Checkout with "Custom Total"

If you're using the Passage Manager App for in-person sales and need to periodically change the total of a transaction, read on!

If you run across situations where you want to give a discount to someone in-person but you don't have time to actually set up a discount, you can utilize the "Custom Total" feature of the Passage Manger App.

To change the total on an in-person transaction through the Passage Manager App to a "Custom Total" (vs the standard total computed from the total of all ticket and product prices and fees), you can follow these instructions:

First, you'll want to toggle "Enable Custom Total" to the on (right) position under "Settings" -> "Sales Settings" in the Passage Manager App.

After doing that, you'll now have a "Change Total" button at checkout that you can use to change the total for just that transaction. Just tap that "Change Total" button at checkout to adjust the total of JUST that transaction to whatever you want it to be.
