Give your customers the option to pay for their tickets in multiple partial payments. You can set up scheduled payments from within your event editor by switching /edit to /ticket_types. The /ticket_types URL will give you the option to first select a ticket type, and then add a payment amount and schedule its payment. Additional payments can be scheduled for specific dates, or the day of the event. Note: payments scheduled for specific dates will be static. So, you will want to make sure ticket sales are ended at least 24 hours before the first scheduled payment.

When using scheduled payments the price set on the ticket type will be charged at the time of checkout. Customers purchasing tickets with scheduled payments will be notified of the amount and dates for future payments before purchasing. Their payments will be scheduled and set up as "Scheduled: Pending" payment types in your transactions report immediately at the time of purchase. When paid these same transactions will switch to the "Scheduled: Complete" payment type.
